ARC Request

Thinking about adding a new covered patio and a deck to the back of your house? Maybe add an extension on to your office for a home theater? We want you to improve your property and make your house more of a home for you and your family. Follow the step below to request Architectural Review Committee approval for your project so you can break ground as soon as possible!

Step 1
Read through the Land Use Standards and ARC Construction Guidelines documents to ensure your project is in compliance with the Twin Lakes standards and permitted.
Step 2
Determine if you need a building permit from the City of Double Oak. While you don't need a building permit to request ARC approval from Twin Lakes this will significantly reduce your wait time if you end up needing one before construction and highly recommended.
Step 3
Complete the ARC Request Form on this page to deliver the request to our ARC Committee for review.

The ARC Committee will then: Review your request, Inspect the location of your requested improvement, Contact you with any questions they may have regarding your improvement and finally, respond to your request electronically in writing with a determination within 30 days after submitted to the ARC as per the DCCR’s.
